Sorry KrazyK8 I forgot to mention - no you don't get the full amount your articles sell for, CC take 35%. Good luck.

Donstant Content Payments

Hi KrazyK8 Payments are automatically made from Constant Content on the 1st of each month (although sometimes it can take a day or two to process). Make sure you have a Paypal account up and running and that CC has the details of this account. Check your Paypal account around the 2nd or 3rd of the m...

proofreading

Hi braxton I've just read your post and think it's a wonderful idea to support each other in this way - although I'm fairly busy at the moment, I'd be more than happy to help you with some proofreading. I totally agree it's often best to leave a piece for a day or two but understand this isn't alway...

private request pricing

Hi Catnipp333 yes I did negotiate a higher price with Paul but I'm still not sure I'm happy tho - Paul did tell me he had two writers working at $30 an article (8-900 words) one at $50 (that's you Catnipp) and I was at $25. He proposed $35 per article for me which I agreed to - however considering t...

Pricing for private requests

Hey Celeste - you're fantastic! You're right and even tho I'm new to freelancing I understand and appreciate your views - even though I'm worried about losing what looks like a long term request, I am concious of the work load. It's hard - anyway I should have more confidence. Thanks so much x

Private request pricing

Thanks Celeste for such a quick reply!
Yes the articles are similar in content, word length and ability so I will try to improve my "bottom line" :-)

Pricing articles for private requests

Just wondering if anyone could give me some information/advice on pricing structures for private requests. I've supplied a number of articles for a private request and the requester specified a price of between $20 and $30 per article. However, I've noticed similar article sales, to the same request...

offer refusal

Thanks everyone - being new to presenting, sharing and actually pricing my work is certainly a 'learning curve'. It's tricky! But I agree we should have faith in our work, and yes we should do away with the 'best offer' and make it, 'make me an offer and I'll see what I think' I like that :-)

Thanks Gail - I thought it was very low, especially since the requestor has offered to pay $10 - $20 for accepted library articles in the requested content area ...

Free articles - why?

Hi everyone, I'm new here but have spent some time researching the site. There seems to be a lot of free articles and they're usually the ones downloaded more than once. I'm thinking maybe authors who write free articles are doing it for exposure and creds, but, doesn't that make life harder for the...
