Re: What mistakes can you help me find.
Here are my two cents, but I am not an actual editor. A majority of people prefer to have rock-solid abs. Use "prefer having" or "would prefer to" Several workouts, such as crunches, bicycle crunches, leg raises, cable rotations, etc., can help you achieve great abs. This sentenc...

Re: Inline Comments
I don't see any inline comments, I just see comments in the bottom comment box. Also, I did it wrong the first time because you need to make changes to the actual long summary and content and then save it. If you upload a new file it doesn't work.

Re: My Sales Numbers on CC
More sales last night. One was an article I posted back in last YEAR. I'm getting many hits by coming through recent tech news and creating content that relates but is still somewhat evergreen.

Re: This is exactly what you do when someone doesn't pay you
I agree. It's very shady that he keeps insisting he can't act against her and that his request to put his website back up was denied. If he was legitimately correct, he would be able to pursue legal action. Beyond that, if he really paid that writer $40,000/year she should have assets, so why is he ...

Re: My Sales Numbers on CC
Submitted 10 articles last night. Still have 7 awaiting review. Sold 3 more articles though, just last night! About insurance and saving money. Average of $40 profit for each after commission, so I made a tidy $120 in a single night. I think one thing that isn't really explored is the idea of exposu...

Re: My Sales Numbers on CC
It's not as amazing as it sounds. What happened was I was stuck in the airport for a 12 hour layover... both ways. So I had like two days that I spent the WHOLE TIME in an airport lobby.

My Sales Numbers on CC
It's sort of hard to gauge success on CC because it's so incredibly wild. I thought maybe it might be beneficial for some people if I shared my numbers, since I've been trying to have a legitimate go at this website. I'm no stranger to content sites. I make my living from sites like these. At the sa...

Re: Long Summary Being Auto Generated
I don't think it's so much an issue of what's default as that authors aren't aware that having 100% of their article can increase their sales. They know they should have more, or at least 1/3rd, but they don't know that the whole thing is better because it isn't stated clearly. I think I actually le...

Re: Long Summary Being Auto Generated
I think 100% should be the default with a notice and a link to an explanation. Ultimately, I believe that it will increase sales for both CC and all writers if they are aware that the summary should be longer. As we saw in this thread, not everyone realizes that and by the time they do realize it th...

Re: Long Summary Being Auto Generated
Can't believe I never saw that! Thanks!
I can't say that I actually noticed a difference when I switched over, but personally I do it because I also use my Constant Content portfolio for a lot of things (such as displaying my work for eLance).

Long Summary Being Auto Generated
I noticed the long summary is now being auto generated. The problem is that it's being auto generated at 1/3rd the article length. Many writers here say that the best way to get sales is to include the entire article. I've been going back and editing my submissions to change my long summary, but I'm...

Re: Submissions
I've started copying things into Notepad first, then pasting them in. Otherwise, I get weird issues that you can't see until after submission. The line breaks come out all wrong if you copy directly from Word 2010, for one.

Re: What happened?
Came here in regards to that. I had an article on a hot topic I wanted to post and couldn't get on. Looks like their host crashed. Hopefully they were maintaining the proper backups, because if not I sure as heck don't have a copy of ALL the articles I've submitted.

Re: Does it seem like everyone is looking and not buying?
I've been on CC for about 3 years now. I come back every once in a while to add some articles to my pool, so I'm not a new writer. Here are my additional observations. When I first started on CC the emphasis was towards evergreen content that could be used to populate websites for random projects. D...
