Re: Did I miss an update about the CC percentage?
Thanks for the reply. It is weird. I guess I'll send an email to ask.

Did I miss an update about the CC percentage?
I always thought that CC took 35 percent of the sales price, and we were left with 65 percent. I was very happy to get a sold email this morning for full rights on a spec article. However, the article sold for $69, but the email said I got $41.40. That's 60 percent. Did something change? Is that pos...

No Payment - Balance Sitting for Over a Month
I did send a message through the contact form. It hasn't been responded to in a few days. I have $44.20 in my account that's been there for over a month. Yes, I've been paid before lots of times in a timely manner, I have my payment set to semi-monthly, and the balance is over the minimum. This has ...

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
I just read this thread after looking back over my unsold articles from the past three years. I was really surprised to find that the vast majority of my unsold articles came from flaky private clients or public requests that might have just gone to somebody else. This is even more obvious if I elim...

Re: Review Times
I think some of my spec articles have gone as long as a week. The good news is that it seems like I've sold about half of what I uploaded within a few days of approval.

Re: Resubmission
Yeah, me too. I'm pretty sure the status should change. I guess I'd try logging in with a different browser to see if that helps. Otherwise, you can try emailing support@constant-content.com to see if you can get an answer. It seems like a mystery, and I'm sure it's frustrating.

Re: Resubmission
I don't think you successfully resubmitted. If I recall correctly, there is a button to save and another button to resubmit. I had to resubmit last week, and my memory might be faulty, but I'm pretty sure I clicked two buttons. Maybe the re-submission button is at the bottom. I'm pretty sure the sta...

Re: How did I miss 90 new articles in one hour?
Is this related to the level they assign? For example, I have an assigned level of 2. Don't the writers with a level of 1 get first access? Does anybody know if we ever get our accounts reviewed to increase our level? I'm just asking because I also think the only time I ever catch good pool articles...

Re: Request Settings Page Questions
I thought it was just 6 - at least that's what I aimed for in each category initially to get the topics I wanted showing up on my profile. Edit: Okay, I just went and checked. I only have 6 articles under the categories 'Australia' and 'Weight Loss', but they were enough to turn those categories gr...

Request Settings Page Questions
Hi, I figured I'd submit some articles to try to get the entries on the request settings page to turn green and make me qualified for more requests. I've got a few questions: Does anybody know how many articles you need to get the numbers on your profile to turn green? Is that accepted or sold artic...

Bug in batches for writer's pool?
I completed one batch for a public writer's pool. That went very well. However, it looks like there is another batch I could claim, but the articles that I submitted for the first batch seem to show up under it as well even though I never claimed it. In other words, it also says 7/7 articles submitt...

Re: Is It Worth It Any More?
You're taking it wrong about being placed on level 4. I had written for CC before and made sales, but I hadn't submitted much in the last year. I was also pretty sad to see a 4. As soon as I submitted another couple of articles, it moved up. I think they just need something recent to go on. Of cours...

Re: Is It Worth It Any More?
My second-to-last article had some revision annotations, but darn - the editor was right, and I did get sloppy. I had worked really hard on research for the article and believe I had a very good angle, but I can admit that I made a couple of mistakes that 90 percent of U.S. readers wouldn't notice. ...
