<It's certainly up to you, but they probably won't show correctly in the long summary.>
Thanks, Ed. I was also concerned that the article would be rejected because of them. Maybe I'll just leave them out.

Use of Sanskrit diacritical marks in article
I'm writing an article that uses a number of Sanskrit words. What does CC think about the use of diacritical marks for languages like Sanskrit? I could eliminate them all, but that would be less accurate.

thanks
It looks like I need to pick up my writing speed, choose the right subjects (or the right requests), and shorten my content to survive here.
Thanks again for your thoughts and suggestions. Try, try again.

a few more questions
How do you get into the private request thing? I've heard on the grapevine that the bestselling articles on CC deal with technogeek stuff and health. Is that true? So nobody here has any specific other writing websites to recommend. When that question is asked on the AC boards, people seem to come o...

my response and thanks to all of you for yours
Wow! I had no idea I'd get so many replies to my inquiry. First of all, I really didn't pick up on the fact that CC will pay you, upon request, if you make less than $50. Maybe it's mentioned in one of the FAQ's, but I sure didn't see it. I'm relieved about that, because it seemed unfair and it both...

what percentage of content is purchased?
I've written four articles so far, only one of which was purchased (written in response to one of the requests). Just by checking the content listings and my own personal experience, I'm getting the uneasy feeling that most of the content submitted to CC by writers is not purchased, and I'd like to ...

How long are articles available to clients?
Once you write an article, does it remain available for purchase indefinitely, or is that a function of whether it sells or not?

adding images to article
You can "add more fields" under "file" when submitting article OR you can have them included as part of your article to begin with. If your article is not approved yet you can still add them, but if its already accepted I dont think you can add them now to it??? >> I did have the...

how do you submit images with articles?
I just submitted an article on the Day of the Dead, for which I had two images I wanted to include, but I wasn't sure how you want that done. Do I include them within the doc file, or do I send them separately?

If you are only offering use, then you can post elsewhere. >> So if you list pricing for unique content, even if nobody actually pays for the unique content, you can't use it elsewhere. One more thing: How long do articles remain available for purchase? Indefinitely? And can the writer change the pr...

another question about use of article I wrote
If the author buys your article, that will be your affirmative response. The length of time you'll have to wait varies from customer to customer. If the article isn't purchased by that customer, it is still available for general purchase and made be purchased by someone else. Thanks Ed. The other th...

how long does it take for customers to respond to submission
I wrote my first article for CC this past week, which was accepted, and then I sent it to a customer who was requesting that type of article via the Q/A link a couple days ago. On average, how long a wait is there for customer response, and what form of response will I get to indicate if it's been a...
