Web Site Link Question
I have an article on pop music I was hoping to submit to CC. I had one writer look at it, and she noticed I left out a link. I know the rules on website links for CC. She thinks it would be okay unless it's a real link. But would just giving the address be wrong? For example, would saying popmusic.c...

Suspended?
I have been suspended before, but I was pretty surprised this time. I don't think I had reached the three rejection limit, so I am unsure of what to think. I wrote support twice in the past three weeks to no response, and would just like to know the problem. I have learned so much and had a lot of f...

Any Experience in Self-Publishing A Book?
Hi guys, I decided to ask my question here. I am in the midst of writing a non-fiction book. My initial aim is to self-publish this via Booklocker. One published writer told me that was a great choice, another writer told me to consider another publisher like Lulu. I have done a bunch of studying an...

Former writer asking for second chance because of suspension
Hi, I have sent two emails in the past week to Constant asking to be reinstated. I was suspended because of too many rejections and not appearing to take them seriously. I hope for a second chance. I had many articles accepted but far more rejected. I was not suspended for a glaring error like plagi...

Any Regular Freelancers Here? Question on writing markets
I love my content sites, but I have decided to make more attempts at traditional publications. Here is the thing. I am not sure a freelance writing career is viable for me, and was hoping someone could help me with markets. I have the 2007 Writer's Market and the 2005 Writer's Handbook. It just seem...

Newbie Asks A Question On What Sells
I suppose I could just do some research on what sells here, but you guys have been very helpful on the forums. I am still a newbie. More than half my articles submitted have been rejected. But, only one has sold. This was one i sold cheap because it was a reprint. My question is this: What are the t...

What is your strategy on full rights?
I am grateful so many writers are willing to help others here. In the spirit of that I had a question. What is your strategy on full rights? I read an article on AC where the writer said to have the full rights be just short of twice the amount of usage (On CC articles of course). I do not use uniqu...

Would Comic Book Articles sell?
I am fairly new to CC. One article sold, three total posted. I love writing about comic books, and have published over a dozen on Associated. I did some of my own research on the site and did a search for comic book articles. I did not see one usage sale. Is that a hint? The thing with associated is...

Would trust be an issue here? I think I will follow the idea to post the entire article all the time. If it works I won't question it. Just wondered if the ideas or article might be stolen. I have yet to fall victim to such a thing, but that's paranoia talking. I know CC says they police such things.

Thanks
All I needed to hear. That was what I assumed. The blog addresses within the article, but I found nothing on the actual headline. Thanks for the help, writewell.

A Question on Titles
I just submitted an article with a title of a film in it. I know in basic journalism it would go like 'Army of Darkness' in the actual title of the article. Or is it "Army of Darkness" Allow me to explain. I know within the article it will be "Army of Darkness" but the article wa...

Wave Tiff, Thanks Celeste
Thanks, Celeste. That was the encouragement I needed. I will work on the letters for CC.
Hey tiff! It's Tiffany right? I do remember you. Out to make the big bucks on CC? (Waves back).
