Re: 2 of my unsold articles have been STOLEN - what should I
I have not received any response to the email I sent last Thursday. Does CC normally take action when material has been stolen off their website? If not, is there any legal action I can take?

2 of my unsold articles have been STOLEN - what should I do?
Two articles that I submitted to CC in 2016 have not yet been sold, but I did a web search and discovered that they've been illegally published on the following websites: writemypaper.net/blog and weatherson.net I have now changed my article preview setting to 50%, but the previews are still showing...

Re: Adding Your Byline After Article Appears in Your Catalog
Ok, thanks. I had thought that the byline is simply the author name under which my articles were posted; I hadn't realized that my name should also appear in the body of the article itself. Thanks! Edit to add: Does anybody here include their byline? I've been searching through the catalog and can't...

Re: Adding Your Byline After Article Appears in Your Catalog
Let's see if I'm understanding correctly. When I submit an article, I should include the words "By Cedar" in the body of the text? Like so: How to Treat-Train Your Cat By Cedar Have you ever wished that cats were as easy to train as dogs? They are, if you know the right techniques. Here ar...

Customers not honoring Usage terms
I looked up CC's terms for the purchase of an article for Usage, and they say: You may not change the content in any way: You must keep the article in its original form without adding or deleting words; you must give credit to the writer by including the writer’s byline (if provided). Think of the U...

Writing for Public Requests - a quick question
I've read the FAQ about responding to Public Requests. The only thing that's confusing me is where it says that you should reply to the customer and "link to" your article. Does this mean that I should post my article somewhere else on the internet and give the customer a link to go read i...

Re: Rejected for "wrong font size" and unnecessary line brea
Thanks, everyone! I disabled the word wrap feature in NotePad, and used the Remove Formatting button as well. It fixed everything EXCEPT that after I click the Save Changes button, my unordered list (bullet points) appear in the default font size instead of 12 point font. If I'm not the only person ...

Re: Rejected for "wrong font size" and unnecessary line brea
Thank you. Yes, that's what I'm doing. I save the article in Notepad, then cut and paste it into CC. I even click the View Source button in the CC submission box to make sure there aren't any garbage characters. So far, so good. Then I click Save Changes, and when I look at the saved text I see that...

Thank you for that suggestion. I tried it, but the same problem is still happening. Does everybody have this problem or is it just me?

Rejected for "wrong font size" and unnecessary line breaks
Hello, I had an article sent back to me for revision because some of the paragraphs were rendered in the wrong font size and there were random unnecessary line breaks throughout. This wasn't the case when I submitted the article. These errors were introduced by the glitchy software on the New Articl...
