"original content" question
Hi, Ed ~ I submitted "A New Generation of E-Readers on the Horizon: When, Where, How — and Why?" last night, which was rejected due to a concern about original content. I just ran it through Copyscape hoping to learn what I had inadvertently copied, and all that came back was a reference i...

Unforgettable? Lingering?
p.s. I realize those aren't nouns but sometimes when I get all jammed up for a word I just change the sentence structure.

Re: Help!
How do I that? (Don't be amazed at my lack of knowledge. Everything I do on a computer is from a need-to-know standpoint.) ;-) Thanks.

Help!
Can anyone think of reasons why I cannot copy and paste from a doc. or txt. file into the CC article submission form? Copy does seem like it's working (it highlights the area) but Control-V doesn't seem to work for me today. Thanks for any help from those who know more than I do, which is most.

Re: Guidance and constructive criticism for rejections
The rule I follow is to follow a colon with a cap if it makes its own sentence, but no cap if it is just a phrase or clause. E.g.

sign-in page
Hello, all - Re: the new look: I've been waiting to see if any of the things that seem a little off to me at first glance become more bothersome with time, and there is one thing that bugs me every time I see it. I wonder if it bothers anyone else: On the sign-in page, that little note that says &qu...

Re: New Category List
You could be right, Ed, but I don't think that is a conclusion buyers would automatically (or reasonably) come to. This category dilemma bothers me a lot. Personally, it's not good for me in terms of sales. I hope it is reconsidered. CC - please see my post in the site renovations category. Thanks.

Re: Constant Content Gets an Update
con't. #3 -- I agree with the others who have mentioned that they miss the rolling "new article" lists. They were so instructive and were such a great way to keep up with the work of others. I am already bummed (maybe others, too?) that there is no way to see how many writers have responde...

Re: Constant Content Gets an Update
Greetings! I am impressed by all the changes and the time and energy and hard work they required - congratulations! I am still getting used to the new format, but I wanted to share a few initial observations. #1 -- I came to the site as a buyer might, and had a bit of difficulty. The categories don'...

Hi! If you read some of the articles others have submitted you will see "you" used very frequently.

Re: Say NO to Vagueness
Ed - thanks for this tip. It's a good thing to remind everyone of this because vagueness is, well, you know, bad because it can interfere with someone's understanding of the things you're trying to tell them.
