I'm another "newbie" and I'm a little lost!

Post by w1z111 »

Greetings!

I've submitted here at CC for a while now, but I must be doing something wrong because it seems like nobody is interested in my stuff!
(Hmmmmm...I suppose it could be me, but...?!).

I have not yet made the "authors' list", nor am I clear on what it takes to get on that list.:?:

Anyway, I've just joined this forum, so I'll look around here to see what I can learn from others. If anyone has any tips, I'm all ears! (Well, my ears aren't that big!).

Thanks for having me, and thanks in advance for any suggestions!8)

To get on the author's list, you must sell five unique or full rights articles. Most of the work I have sold has been from article requests. If you look at the "recently sold" content tab, you can see what is "hot" right now too. Finance and real estate always seem to do well. Sometimes we have a big run on pet related articles too. It just depends.

Hi!

I think the majority of questions that newbies have can be answered by spending an evening browsing the forum. I found it SO EXTREMELY helpful when I was still learning the ropes. When I say evening, I mean it, there is really a lot of informative info there!

Good luck, happy writing!

=)Julie

Thank you, Julie!
I have been looking at some of the forum topics and posts, and you are right about there being lots of good info there! I have not "spent an evening" as you suggest, though you're probably right about that, too; I need to spend some "focus-time" picking out the helpful tidbits that make all the difference!
Thanks again for your feedback!:D
