Sawatdee Kob

Post by mobii »

Sawatdee kob (hello in Thai) everyone. My name is Don, and I have just joined CC. I am new to writing, but am interested in learning the art for both online business and job related reasons. I am currently teaching English to 7th-9th graders here in Thailand. I look forward to learning and growing as a writer with the help of the new friends I hope to make here. Please feel free to critique anything i do, and please give it to me with both barrels so I learn faster. Thanks!

Hope you find success here, Don.

Have you read Fieldwork by Mischa Berlinski? I just finished it - it's worth the read, and I mention it because it's about a journalist who follows his girlfriend to Thailand after she lands a job as a 1st grade teacher. The author bases his mystery plot on his experiences living in Thailand as a freelance journalist. Thought you might enjoy it, if you can lay your hands on a copy.
