Fresh Meat

Post by SarahTaylor621 »

Well, as you've probably assumed already I'm new here and since this is my first day I decided to follow proper protocol after browsing around and submitting a few articles; that is to say I decided to introduce myself.

I've never really written for pay before, though I have been toying around on sites such as textbroker and helium but now I've decided to brave the waters and dive head first into Constant Content. My curiousity needless to say got the better of me and while I don't consider myself a professional writer I'm still under the illusion that I'm capable of throwing sentences together coherently, even though I do have a tendency to ramble on occasion.

So, here I am and it's nice to meet you all in advance. I'm a pretty easy person when it comes right down to it, I don't have dreams of grandeur when it comes to hitting it big as a writer. I just like writing is all and thought if I have at least one talent I'm semi-competent in why not give it a shot? Again, hello. :D

Hi Sarah

Welcome! I like your attitude - very similar to how I see the whole freelance writing thing myself.

Good luck with it!

Jane,

Thank you for that warm welcome, I really appreciate it too often you join these freelance writing sites and right off the bat there are certain individuals who won't give you the time of day due in large part to your 'newbie status.' So, thank you again.

Well, I figure there's only one real way to approach work such as this and that's really not to take it too seriously. If you enjoy writing it should be something you consider as a hobby not as a real job, because once you do begin to see it as a job you're automatically going to associate it with hatred and I would never want to do something like that.

Thank you again for your welcome and I hope to get to know everyone here at CC a whole lot better. :D
