Hello CC, I'm a freelance writer out of Oregon. Found out about this site looking for an article distributor that I can try out. I've taken a quick stroll through the rejection board, and followed up on links that pointed out how to avoid mistakes such as not self-proofreading, and only having three article 'outs' from mistakes. I believe that I won't have to worry about that too much but I'm still going to be ready to get hit by the rejection bat, have been before on other sites.
Well, did the title grab your attention at least?

Yes.
Welcome to the site! Where in Oregon are you? I have a soft spot for Mt. Bachelor / Bend and try to get up there for some skiing every few years. Also love Portland and the Gorge though I'm not brave enough to attempt windsurfing in those high wind conditions.

Yep, you just hit exactly where I'm not. I live 2-3 hours North of Bend, 2-3 hours East of Portland, and a half hour drive away from the Gorge. Putting me in the middle of nowhere. (Only county in Oregon that doesn't have a part of a national forest in it...) But it's a good spot to take off to other parts of Oregon, can be to Bend or Portland and back in one day, so it's not too bad. Just that no one lives out here.
