Hey, everyone!
I'm not new to the site -- I joined probably a year ago, wrote some articles, and even sold one. But then I went back to school and dropped out of the Constant Content universe. Well, I am now temporarily (and unexpected) out of school for a semester. I'm waiting to hear about my acceptance to another school, but until then I need a job. So I'm back here! In this economy, it is virtually impossible to find work for only 3 months (I'll be taking a few classes again this summer and then full time in the fall. Hopefully), so I'm hoping to make at least a partial income here with a lot of work. I know its unlikely, but at this point even possibilities are better than nothing
It's good to be back. I didn't realize how much I missed writing... and selling!

Erin, it's not impossible to make a decent income in only three months on CC. Approach it as a job and write a set number of hours or articles per day. Try different strategies. Here are a few ideas:
1) Submit an article to EVERY public request that comes through.
2) Watch the recently sold list and write on topics that seem to be selling well.
3) Write on popular topics such as personal finance, business, relationships, technology, living frugally
4) Focus on building a high-quality portfolio quickly, with a large range of original content in the $35-$60 range.
Most importantly: ask for help whenever you need it. The CC community is one of the best things about writing here.
Good luck!
