My first day here

Hello everyone. I lurked around in the forum last night and today and finally got brave enough to write and submit an article. The forum has a lot of friendly people and I just know I"ll like it here. I have done some writing for another place but wanted to try CC. I like the idea of writing on the subject I choose, more than having to pick out from an assignment desk. Well, here's hoping.......

Welcome rcolby and best of luck. If your first article is accepted, that's great. If not, do go back to the guidelines and make sure you understand everything. There are plenty of us here to help in the forums if you don't.

Thanks for the advise. I have learned more from reading forum posts than anywhere else. I even grabbed my article back and did some editing after finding out a few bloopers I made. Thank goodness it had not been reviewed yet.

I hope that CC is patient with new authors to this site as we learn all the ways cc wants content delivered. All sites are not the same so it may take a little trial and error.
