first day.......

Post by patches »

Hi: My name is Ray and I live in Canada. I hope I have found a home here as I love to write and also am in a position where I must earn some extra income..

I was wondering just what the financial possibilities are(say per month)if one writes quite steadily and articles are accepted.

There are so many questions........I have been an endurance athlete for over 30 years. Do you think there is interest in triathlons----possibly the Ironman, as I have done 14 of them and have also written a book on the subject.

I did look through requested articles and did not see much interest in sports in general..

Also, I have many articles written on other sites.. I have the rights to them all. Can I also re-submit then to constant content as a "usage" article??

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Now I just have to figure out how to check for responses...

Welcome to CC, Ray!
I think the income here varies a lot by how much you post and who's buying at the moment. Some of us make a decent income; others, like me, are lucky to pull fifty bucks a month, lol. I only write maybe an hour a day, though, and some days don't even bother with that much. Right now is pretty slow for me, but I did sell my first article within an hour of posting it!
I haven't a clue about re-submitting articles from other sites here, so hopefully someone else will know. But I know I'd be interested in fitness articles, so I'm sure they'll sell here. :D
Hope you have fun here!

Hi Ray and welcome to CC. You may submit any articles you've written for other sites (as long as you aren't violating their terms) to CC for "usage" only. Put 0's in the other fields when submitting.

If you want to be alerted to a response to your postings, check off the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box underneath the message body when you post a message or reply.

Good luck to you in all your endeavors.

Thanks for the replies!!

I think I will like it here. At last I found a site that ones abilities may be recognized and rewarded.

Just so many scams on the net..Unbelievable.

Anyway, glad to be. Also good to hear that I can post my already written articles here under usage.........I must have 100 of them out there waiting for a home..

Thanks again..

Ray, (Patches)

There are a lot of articles, blogs... that sell that are not written for the requests. If you check "Recently Sold Articles" you can see what is selling. Be sure to use a lot of keywords so your articles can be found. I work fulltime & make a very decent amount here. You will find the people here (owners, editors, authors, & buyers) are very helpful & friendly.

I think you should definitely submit your articles already written (per CC rights). If it is something you know so much about you are sure to have some great articles that will sell. Articles are selling all the time on ALL subjects. You can do the requests or just submit what you want & see what happens. There is no time limit or no limit on how many you can have for sale at one time. The subjects change all the time & like I said there are many buyers who do not request, but just come in & buy what they want.

GOOD LUCK & WELCOME ABOARD -- it is GREAT to find a place that is NOT a SCAM like so many out there!!!

I like that nickname "Patches" -- got a calico cat named that!

catnip......

Thanks so much for the informative reply. I don't know how well I will do here financially , but I do know I will enjoy it anyway.

It is nice to be able to do something you enjoy and have a place where it is appreciated.

Also, I can already see that it will be a good learning experience.

Thanks again,
