I'm new and from AC too

Post by angelscribe »

Hi everyone. My name is Kristen. I'm also from Associated Content. I hope to come here to post good articles for content and get paid for it. I also want to go to Common Ties to get paid for personal stories. I hope to make your acquaintance here.

Hi

Post by angelscribe »

Thank you. I hope to post an article for payment real soon. I do have a question: How long do you wait to hear if it's accepted and then posted?

It depends on how many articles are ahead of yours in the queue awaiting approval. Generally speaking, within in 24-72 hours.

queue

Post by angelscribe »

That's interesting. I didn't know there was a queue. Is that per category or in general?

Every article that is submitted enters one queue, with the most recently submitted at the end.

Queue

Post by angelscribe »

Oh, you're saying that there's one queue in general than one for a category like entertainment, health and sports?

That's right. Everything goes to the same place to await approval.

Exclusive rights?

Post by angelscribe »

Oh okay. I have one more question to ask, if it's okay. If you publish an article here exclusively, you can't publish it elsewhere as non-exclusive? I've heard someone tell me that at AC. What are your rights for publication?

You can read more about the different licenses here:

http://www.constant-content.com/area/writertutorial.htm

The short answer: If you have published your work anywhere else, you may only submit to Constant-Content for a usage license (that's the first field in the pricing section of the submission page).

If you submit to CC exclusively, you may not publish it anywhere else because customers who buy unique and fullrights licenses are expecting completely original content. I hope this helps.

CC first publish, elsewhere later

Post by angelscribe »

What about if you publish an article first at CC, can you publish it elsewhere, even if it's non-exclusive? I think that's what I meant and referring to.
