Just wanted to say hi and also to ask about article submission. The thing is that I submitted an article for a request but the article was rejected for using author information. I read the guidelines and done nothing of the sort. I would like to know how I might fix this, I have reread the guidelines and cannot fnd the answer.

Hi Bobbyd,

Welcome to CC. My understanding is that the author should not intrude on the article - especially since many of our customers want to purchase full rights or to have articles that match the customer's websites. Therefore, besides a simple by-line, eg: By Hayley Boobykin, there should be no other intrusion of the author into the article. Do not use "I" pronouns for example. If you have included a short biography about you as an author, the article would also be rejected at that point. Obviously, I am only making guesses here as I am not the editor and have not seen your article. I suggest you reread the article and look for 'author intrusion' and take it out. Links are also not allowed by the guidelines. Then try resubmitting and see how you go.

Hope this helps!

Hayley
