Just Want to Say 'Ello.
Hello. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I'm Milla. Is there any tips for writing articles that will sell? Thank you :)

Re: Just Want to Say 'Ello.
Hi Milla,
Welcome to CC!
The list of articles that sell is as varied as the authors here. My suggestion is to write about topics that interest you, that you can provide fresh and original content on. Try building up a portfolio of several articles on different topics, you just never know when a customer will be looking for the topic. That said, check out the Blog section, CC has kindly created a list of the ten most popular selling topics. Also review the recently sold section often, as this gives you ideas on what is currently selling, and at what prices.
Selling here is spasmodic, which means it can be exciting to log in and find you have sold a couple of articles, or you could sit for several days, weeks, or even months without a sale. The more articles you have available, and the more often you submit, the more likely you are to have sales. Yesterday, for example, I sold three articles - one I had written in September, and two submitted in the last week. Sometimes it can take a few months to sell a particular article, so don't fret if sales seem slow at first. Concentrate on building up your portfolio and see how it goes.
Good luck here,
Kind regards,
Hayley
