Rebecca from the Midwest

I can't remember if I introduced myself, so here goes: I am Rebecca from Chicago. I have a news-ed degree and another degree in child development, and am returning to freelancing after a 15 year break in which I tried to actually do a real job, which I hated. I am finding that I have forgotten much of what in the past came automatically, such as how to make an article interesting, as well as basic spelling and grammar. ;-) I really like this site, especially the concern that the staff has for professionalism, and I have confidence that if I read the forums and follow directions, I will soon bring my writing back up to speed. It is nice to meet you all.
