Just joined - have question...

Hi Everyone,

I've just joined, and posted two articles which are waiting for approval. For a brief intro...

My name is Candice, and I'm a work from home mother of two. I enjoy writing articles and have had many articles published in my field over the years, but would like to expand my writing skills and start getting paid to do so. :D

Anyhow, the question...

The articles I normally submit to other sites (free) for reprint must include a reference or resource box at the conclusion of each article. When someone reads my article, they'll have the opportunity to visit my site at the end. Would I still include this at the bottom of articles which I am selling here? I wasn't sure about this. I know to include at least my name as author, but do you include your own site address when getting paid for an article?

Thanks! Look forward to a writing career - hopefully!

It is somewhat awkward to include a link since you never know what format it is going to be in (and therefore what will happen to your html), where it will be displayed and so on. You may add that info, but it *may* not look nice and some clients will prefer not to have it.

Basically, what I recommend is that you have to decide for yourself at what point the cost of the article is worth it for you to do with and without the link. So, maybe you decide you won't sell anything for less than $10 unless it includes your link, but if you are getting more than that, you're happy with a byline. :)
