Greetings!

Hello there! New here, obviously! :) Submitted my first article yesterday and was accepted today...here's hoping the client wants to buy it! Just wanted to say this seems like a very supportive, positive environment. Cheers!

Welcome to the site! Congratulations on step one (getting an article accepted) and here's to step two: sales!

Welcome to cc! It is nice to receive that first acceptance. Here's hoping that you will also experience that first sale soon! WG

Thanks all!

Just to confirm what I'm reading in other threads...a client has 3 days to review an article for public request, and then it gets released for general viewing/sale?

Hi Jessica,

Welcome to CC! Yes, that is correct. Don't worry though if the customer does not purchase your article straight away, some requesting customers will purchase after a week or two, taking the risk that another customer will not purchase the article in the meantime. Once an article is released for general viewing or sale, you can see an increased number of hits on your article and are likely to sell it. In the meantime, keep writing other articles and build up your portfolio of quality articles for customers to purchase (and not just on requested topics). This is the way to succeed at CC!

Best of luck,

Hayley

Thanks, Haley! I'm definitely working on some non-request articles! And since the request article was for a very specific product, I doubt the requester has to worry about anyone else buying it!
