Hello everyone!
My name's Will and I've been registered for some time, tried writing a bit and I've decided to get more writing done here. Since losing my job I've been trying to find a good freelance writing site and this seems like a great one!

CC is a great place to be
I've been here about a month and though I'm not rolling in dough yet, I've had five sales and look forward to making more in the future as my portfolio increases. CC has a very supportive writers' community here and very knowledgeable editorial and technical staff who seem ready to help whnever possible.
Tip: Read all the forums inside and out, read ALL the writers' guidelines and FAQs and even the buyers' info so you know what they're expecting. Maybe you've done all that already and if so, kudos!

Just a head's up - if you use Word 2007, make sure you save the font in arial or times new roman. The size of the font needs to be 12pt. Also, save it as .doc. I imagine lots of people get their first rejection for this stickler of a guideline.

Like Debbie I've been here about a month. I think you'll find that CC is the most professional freelance site available. Plus, there is a real community here. Writers are willing to help each other out and they try to make CC a better site.

Welcome, Will! I've been here for about 4 months and my only regret is that I didn't find CC earlier. It's a great place to earn money, hone your writing skills and chat with other writers. Good luck with your writing and I look forward to getting to know you better on the forums.
