HI and welcome. I'm a UK writer too. Tips for new authors are usually to make sure you have a handle on the guidelines and make a note of anything you don't understand. Then trawl the forums where lots of questions have been answered before. But feel free to ask your own if you still can't find answers. You'll find plenty of help here if you need it.

The forums are the best place, I think, to find info. Read the rejection forum to find out why articles are rejected. Most of them are for spelling/grammar, but some others make mistakes like forgetting the format. Also read the questions and authors forum. That one has a lot of good questions regarding buyers, pricing, stolen articles, and some on policies.
