I am finally beginning to be comfortable enough to move around on Constant-content without getting too nervous. Must be my age!! As a great-grandmother, things seem to take longer than normal to catch on but I love writing and always have. I am retired and run an elderly dog rescue organization, so my writings keep me and my old dogs going. We have about 29 who are abused, neglected, elderly and/or with behavior problems. Many ideas come from working with them...I have worked with dogs since 1999.

Welcome, fellow grandma and dog lover! I have two mini dachsunds and a Greyhound mix. I adopted one of my weenies from the New Mexcio Dachshund Rescue and have been steadily working with him to build up his self-confidence and trust of humans.
What kind of dogs do you take in?

I take in dogs who need me. That is the only criteria, I guess. We have seen some pretty bad situations over the years that would break your heart. I started Way Cool Dogs online to maybe teach people things about dogs (mange, worms, dog clothes....nothing is sacred!). They give us a purpose here. We have Shiba Inus, American Eskimos, Cocker Spaniels, Rat Terriers, and Cocka-a-poos. Oh yeah...and precious dachshunds.
