I am new here, but I have submitted a couple of articles. They seem to be getting kicked back. The last message was that the title is already registered. I have no idea of what that mean. I have tried searching the site, but so far have not found an answer.

Jimmy, that means that some other article on the site has the same title. The CC site is like a database with each "title" being a unique record. So, no two titles can be identical. For example, if your article's title is fairly common such as "How to Buy a Puppy" and some other article is already on the site with the same title, it will get kicked back for the "title already registered" reason. The solution is to rework the title, preferably making it even more unique for your own article such as "Puppy Buying Tips for Young Families" or "Buying a Purebred Puppy."

This error commonly occurs with public requests where the requester asks for specific articles such as "I need an article about the benefits of Roth IRAs over traditional IRAs". Chances are good that someone is going to write an article and title it "The Benefits of Roth IRAs over Traditional IRAs." Chances are also good that several writers will do the same thing. The first writer doesn't have a problem, but the others will. So, make your title as unique and specific as possible.

Note, your document can have a slightly different title. The error is related to the title *field* of CC and its database. If you absolutely want your article to have a specific title, you can alter the field for acceptance purposes and keep the article's title as you'd like it to read in the document and long summary.
