Greetings From a Failed State

I am writing from Jamaica, which used to be a tropical paradise. At one point in my life I wrote a column for my local rag. I am very interested in history and culture and law. I hope I'll be successful here, and need all the help I can get.

There are three types of people in the world. The 'A' person reads the manual, and proceeds to follow the manual. The 'B' person takes up the manual, begins a low keening and an 'A' person arrives to assist. Then there's the 'C' person who is sure she's read the manual understands every word, and proceeds to blow herself up.

I'm a 'C.'

Great candor. its refreshing to hear some else make fun of themselves.

Welcome from a chubby, freckle faced, cotton topped, fingernail biting, thumb sucking, agoraphobic stutterer turned writer and public speaker

All the Best,
Scotty
