Hi! I'm new to this.

After graduating from college in May with a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development, I've yet to find a steady job. My boyfriend's mom mentioned to me this online writing gig, and my interest was piqued. I figured it was good to pursue something that might provide a small amount of income in order to keep my morale and bank account above water while I looked for jobs.
So I signed up for Suite101 and wrote a few articles. After I realized that Suite might not be the best source of income, I found CC. I really enjoy CC now, though have yet to sell an article. I think I may just need to brush up on my grammar and spelling skills a bit, just to make the acceptance process a little faster.
But I can't wait to really get into writing articles for CC. I've always loved writing and love the idea of writing about what I want to and setting my own price. Not only that, but the community seems great!
