Hi-di-hi from England

I've already made a few posts here so thought it best to nip over and introduce myself.
I'm a UK born and based writer doing my best to make a living out of my scribblings. Not always the easiest task in the world but the one I enjoy most.
I don't have a speciality as such and write about all sorts of things - I guess lifestyle issues are my favourite, though.
Although my forum posts are written in UK English, any articles I post here will be written in US English as I imagine that's the biggest market on this site? 'Tis easier to write UK but who doesn't love a challenge?
I also write fluent Norwegian after living out there for 18 years but I doubt there's much call for that around these parts.
What else do you want to know? I'm 44 (but no grey hair yet - hallelujah!), I live with my partner who's also a writer and I have three kids, the last of whom left school last week. She'll be off to college in the autumn so I guess they're all grown up now. Unlike a lot of mums who suffer empty nest syndrome, I'm quite looking forward to having more time to myself (not to mention money!).
Anyway, enough waffle from across the pond. Hope to see you all around.
