HI I am having bit of a problem.

Post by Dur »

HI everyone, I am a new writer at CC though I have been in the writing field since 3 years. I have searched teh entire forum and website for my queery but couldn't find any answer. I don't know how to start over. I went to the requested content area and sresponded to a public request but got a message that I can't reach the customer until 1 article is accepted by the editors. I then worte an article and submitted via general artical submission. It has been 3 days but I got no response and I am not sure whether the editors would be cheking that article for approval or it is available already for the customers??Im highly confused on this kindly help quick!

Go to My Content on the left hand menu aftetr you have logged in. The article will be listed there along with its status.

By the way, there were a number of errors in your post here. I expect you will have proofed your article more thoroughly. It will not be accepted if there are any errors. Good luck in your endeavours at CC.

Thanks for the reply the article status is under review since 4 days. Yes I had done the proofreading before submitting the article, the mistakes in this post are due to fast, unchecked typing. Well the status of the article is under review but alongside it under the hits category there is a digit of 2 written. What is the hits feature for?

Sometimes reviews do take a while, especially with new authors. It depends how many submissions are in the queue, and particularly how many are for public and private requests, which must have priority.

The hits function is how many times the article has been looked at. Since it is not yet in the general pool, this can only be by you or a member of the editing team. If you have not opened the article yourself, you know that it has been opened twice by an editor, although I'm not sure why they would do that as they have to work on the submission page and your document.
