I am brand new here. I took a risk and uploaded my first submission. Now I will go back and read the FAQs and make sure I did it right. I was so inspired by all the introductions! I am a grad of the UCSD Copyeditors Certification Course and I am ready to write!!! So glad I found constantcontent!
I live in San Diego - I'm a single Mom of an 18-year-old and a copy editor and QA analyst for a web development company. I would love to be able to generate some income on my own - hopefully enough to cut back my office hours to a 32-hour work week. Not expecting this to happen over night, but it's a start!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been researching Constent-Comment all weekend and I like what I've seen so far. I'm not going to submit any more articles until I reread the FAQs and submission guidelines. I had to laugh about one comment - someone complaining that her article was rejected because she hadn't used the correct font. It was a relief to discover that the ppl who complain the site is a scam neglect to submit error-free, grammatically correct articles that are formatted according to the submission guidelines.

You are so right. There are plenty of people out there who like to whinge and complain, but who aren't going to put in the effort to create a success. CC is the best site for freelance writers, because it is so different. We don't have to bid against each other for work and we have a great community of supportive writers here on the forums. I think many of the people who complain just don't understand how Constant Content works. I think they expect it to be like other sites and give up if their article doesn't sell immediately after being reviewed. CC is a long-term venture, as many articles may sell several months after you write them. However, if you write consistently and build up a good portfolio of articles, you will definitely make money here. Good luck with your writing here. Don't forget to read through the forums, as you will find reams of good advice and hints here.
