Hi my names Jade and I am a new writer here and I was just wondering if we have to ask for a subject to write about or just write about what comes in mind randomly. Either way it's no problem I just want to know. Thanks.

Write what you like to write about, within the guidelines (no 1st person POV, poetry etc). Start with something short - say 500 words - and proof it carefully.
