Hi!

I just heard about the site and felt I'd give it a shot, unfortunately I don't know where to start! I'm unknown, so of course I won't get requests. What are some good ways to get my name out there? What types of articles should I submit? Thanks

Hi,
Welcome aboard! Start with writing for requests and that's a sure fire way to begin relationships with customers. For your own ideas, write what you are comfortable with whether its video games, gardening, software, photography, breeding animals, travel etc.... who knows it may find a home right away.

I'm hoping your screen name here in the forum isn't the same one you use in the actual CC writer's site. If I were a customer, I'd be hesitant to take submissions seriously from someone named Deathshard  Just my opinion, not trying to give you a hard time.

Anyhow, give it a try and have fun. Don't forget to let customers know when you have an article that meets their needs.

Welcome, welcome. Here as everywhere, the old adage "Write what you know" applies; anything you know anything about is fair game. :-) Seriously, you might try writing for one of the public requests in the Requests section, and I like to check out the Recently Sold Content to see what other people are selling.

Hi and welcome. Yes, write about what you know and enjoy! That way your enthusiasm for the subject will show in your writing and make for interesting and hopefully saleable reading.

Good luck! :D
