I used to write for Suite 101 and did pretty well there. But since Google has slammed them, my income from them is just about down to nothing. Very sad. Hopefully that won't happen here, but CC is set up differently from Suite. I like the idea of selling my articles, too, instead of getting part of the adsense revenue.
