I guess now is as good a time as any to introduce myself, my name is Natalie and I have been lurking on the forum for a couple of days now just trying to get a feel for the community here. I am new to writing and hesitate to call myself a writer however, my goal is to learn how to write well and maybe sell a couple of articles along the way. I am a dog groomer by profession and love my job, and though that is true, I have always had the urge to write but until now, I have never found an outlet for writing. I welcome all tips and tricks of the trade, and look forward to the journey ahead.

Welcome Natalie. Take your time and get familiar with the writing guidelines here before you submit. It's really important to follow them and to proof read your work carefully so that it won't be rejected for typos, spelling and grammatical errors. Pet articles sell well here so you could start by writing about what you know best. Good luck.
