Hello everyone. I just came across this site yesterday. I spent several hours checking out the site and lurking in the forum. I must say this is the most professional writing site I've come across. Many of you are very helpful. I think the forum posts were the icing on the cake and made me want to join.

I've submitted my first piece and will wait until it is reviewed just to get an idea of what types of writing is accepted. I've done a lot of writing but never really submitted it anywhere except maybe on my own website(s). Who knows, maybe one day, I'll be a customer here too.

Thank you for the welcome. I never thought about the XX's. Maxx is or was the name of a pet bird my ex-husband and I had. He was a Nanday Conure. He was always doing silly things that made us laugh. So since day one of my having a presence on the internet, I have been known as sillymaxx. There are many stories about him. Maybe I should find a niche to write his stories.

I've actually submitted 2 pieces of work so far. I don't really have any specific questions yet. After browsing through the site and the forums, looks like most of them are covered in the general sense.
