Hi everyone! I'm new here, just finished all the necessary details a few hours ago. I was referred by someone in the Upwork community, and I'm excited to get started. I have submitted two articles so far (pending review) and I look forward to the possibility this may hold.
A little more about me: I'm 25, new to freelance work in general, but eager to succeed. I'm currently working on a book as a side project (but who isn't, right?) and seeking out all opportunities to advance my career. I'm embarrassed to say that I got a bit of a rough start thinking that I had to start with horrible search engine fodder and move my way up, but I feel confident that I'm on my way now. With any luck, I hope to have a stable career within the next five years (and hopefully be onto my second book by then!

I hope this community is as supportive as the Upwork community has been to me. I heard that the standards here were a bit higher, but as far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing.
