Resubmitted First Article

Hello, I am new here. I am glad to be on board.

I have a question regarding resubmitting articles. I wrote my first article several days ago. The article got rejected for a few minor mistakes. I edited the article, saved changes, and clicked resubmit button. It has been several days, but it is still in resubmission. Did I do something wrong or does it just take a while for an editor to receive it again? It only took 12 hours when I first submitted it for review.

There seems to be around a one week wait on submissions at the moment. It also depends on the category I think. I've resubmitted some articles that have been checked within hours, whereas I have one that's been waiting for over a week to be re-checked. It shouldn't be too much longer for you hopefully.
