Rejections for Requested Content Timeline

I am brand new to Constant Content. I have written two articles, both for requested content. The first article was rejected, then edited and accepted. The second was also rejected and I just edited it. My question relates to clients who requested content with a deadline date. Do they only consider articles accepted prior to their deadline or is there a chance they will see the articles once they have been edited and accepted? TYIA for any help. Blessings!
