Did you receive an email notifying you about the rejection? They don't always go through but if so, they usually have a reason specified. Sometimes the reasons leave writers scratching their heads a bit. I believe there's a sticky on the top of the forum explaining what each general rejection category *really* means. (Edited: Here's the link to deciphering reject notices: http://constant-content.com/blog/?p=30)
If you didn't receive the rejection notice and it's not stuck in your SPAM trap, hopefully Ed will remember and shed some light for you in the morning. Whatever the reason, realize that you can always make the suggested adjustments and resubmit.

This is what it stated in my rejection notice:
"Please submit in one of our accepted file types."
However, I didn't realize there was a specific file type requested. I know the font is supposed to be size 12, paragraphs are supposed to be single-spaced, with no indentations, and there should be a space between each paragraph.

I think you submitted a Wordpad document.
Thanks,
Ed
