I'm sorry, but your writing does not meet our standards. We require all content to be free of grammatical errors.

When you signed up for Constant Content, you agreed to our terms, which state that three rejections can lead to account suspension.

Please help and enable my account

Ed,

I am very sorry for those errors, they were careless slips. I assure you such slips will be avoided in the future.

Will it be possible to enable my account? I want to keep writing for your site and i will be careful in the future.

Any ways you could help me?

No, I am sorry. It is clear from your initial submissions that your writing style does not meet our requirements for professional quality writing. Please seek to publish your work elsewhere. Good luck.

Thanks,

I had a few rejections recently also. They weren't due to spelling or blatantly incorrect grammer. It was more due to certain sentences being ambiguous in meaning. I think rejections help us become better writers. Can you tell me if such rejections will definitely lead to account suspension? I'm very concerned. I've sold a few articles and feel very good about that. I want to continue writing for this site, as I'm gaining momentum. Please advise. Thanks.

Jen, you definitely need to pay more attention to syntax and the message you intend to get across. The problems in your articles are often grammatical in nature. Please have someone else proofread your articles for logic, grammar, and clarity, and proofread after you have let your article sit for a few days. It is necessary that authors consistently submit writing that makes sense and is error free. Please be more careful in the future. These are the types of problems that authors are suspended for.

Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback. Letting the article sit and coming back with a fresh set of eyes sounds like a good solution.

Another question: is there a correlation between having an article remaining in review for long periods of time and rejections? I've noticed that articles that have been accepted are usually accepted right away. Those that are rejected are usually sitting in the que for a day or so, and then they are rejected.

As I've said to other authors, if I am in doubt, I make sure to carefully consider the article at a later time. Sometimes I initially come to an article at the end of a long string of reviews. In cases when I am unsure about the article, I will let it set a little longer so as not to make the wrong decision or cause confusion when need to think about my rejection response more thoroughly. In some cases, the words that weren't making sense to me at 9pm make perfect sense at 9am. I respect all the authors here enough to want to get it right the first time. :P

Thanks,
