My article was rejected for submitting it in docx. I had transferred the article from my Word articles. One of the questions when submitting is what format it's in and one on the ist is doc. Should I only be typing the article directly on the submission page? Is there a way to bring it in from my Word files?
Thank you.

Just save your Word document as .doc instead of the default of .docx. Go to the Word button in the upper left of your screen and choose Save As > Word 97 to 2003. The reason DOCX is not accepted is that the format is not widely used yet. Customers may not be able to open their purchased article.

Another way to help with that problem is to copy/paste the article to NotePad. You'll lose any formatting you have, but there shouldn't be that much fancy formatting in there anyway.

This is a good tip, but please make sure all formatting isn't lost if you choose this route. Paragraphs should still be single-spaced with double spaces between paragraphs.
