Rejection: Word Choice
I am new to C-C and received a rejection, the reason being, word choice. Could anyone provide a little help here as the reason was a bit vague. thx.

Here are a few examples of word choice errors:
With plummeting unemployment rates, it's hard to get a job right now.
(unemployment rates are soaring, not plummeting)
Costco has choices abound!
(Costco has choices aplenty!)
The kids played there video games all night.
(their)

Authors must also proofread for homophones.
