Hi
I have a quick question about the suspension policy, because I am rather paranoid.
My first article submitted to CC was accepted (huge shock to me) and then sold within a day (even bigger shock lol). I have not had any rejections yet, mainly due to the fact that I have only submitted only one more article, which I did today.
I want to ask about suspension because I am afraid to submit more than one article at a time, before finding out whether or not my other article has been rejected for fear of the suspension. I did mention I was paranoid. I have read around the forums, and in older posts, that the rule is not necessarily set in stone, but I just wanted to know if that is still valid. Should I have a little more courage and submit more articles? Or should I hold my horses and do as I am doing now?
Thanks for the insight.
Suspension?

Re: Suspension?
You have already proved you can write for CC. Keep on submitting. My understanding is that these days, as a new author you can submit three articles and once these have been accepted, another ten, then the sky's the limit. After writing, wait a bit before proofing thoroughly, or get someone else to look at your work before you submit. Make sure you offer the very best you can. There is always a good reason for suspension and it's not done lightly, only if people are not able to improve the articles that have been rejected before resubmission. Pretty well everyone slips up occasionally and gets a rejection. We're only human, after all, and Ed understands that. Best wishes.
Re: Suspension?
PS. Of course, it would be courteous to Ed not to bombard him with tons of articles at once. It would be courteous to other authors too, so that their work doesn't have to wait too long in the review queue.
Re: Suspension?
Thanks for answering. I wasn't intending on bombarding anyone lol... Just submitting maybe more than one article per week....
Re: Suspension?
OK. I find that submitting a regular amount results in more sales, but I'm only a 2 or 3 a week girl. When life gets in the way even of that, it seems to take a while for my sales to pick up again. Just something for you to think about. Good luck anyway.
