Many threads from different authors regarding rejections...

As I can see there are many threads regarding rejections here and I cannot understand why Grammatical Errors are the most common among them.
Anyways, I've got the same problem. Although the mail says Article has been rejected for grammatical errors but even after repeated checks I could not find any grammatical errors. The title of my article is - "Renter’s Insurance Policy, a Protection Every Renter Needs" .
Could you explain why????

Writers who submit to Constant Content must be able to proofread their own work and be knowledgeable about basic grammar rules. Basic grammar errors, especially when they appear throughout the submission, are not able to be individually identified.

Hi Chandra,

As I can see at least three grammatical errors in your post here, I am not very surprised to hear you had a rejection for this. I suggest you look at this website http://owl.english.purdue.edu/ as it contains many exercises and hints on correct grammar usage. Keep reading the forums and keep asking questions. Most of us endure a steep learning curve when we start at CC, as the guidelines are stricter than many other article writing sites. If you want to learn and become a better writer, you can succeed here. I do suggest you take some time to review the grammar rules before resubmitting.

I suppose I am one of many waiting not so patiently for Ed to review my first article ( Tips For Surviving Winter Weather) that was rejected. It was rejected for three reasons, Grammar,clarity and relevance. As I read my article again I could readily see the irrelevant parts but the clarity issue became obvious only after conferring with my other 'better" half. I had a heck of a time finding my grammar mistakes. I reworked the article just as Haley's book suggested. I let the article sit for a day or two then I picked it up again. I took the direction that Ed provided in my rejection e-mail and I really worked on the article again hoping to hit the mark. I had to laugh at myself, the article on first submission was about 800 or so words and I think now its around 500 words, t his will be my third effort so I hope I don't get the ol heave ho before I figure out how to please Ed.
