Rejected for use of links in references
My article "Greenpeace: 40 Years of Fighting to Save the Planet" was rejected because I included website addresses in my reference list. I edited the list to remove the web addresses. The article uses parenthetical notation. Is there a certain style guide we should follow for references in an academic or scholarly article? Thanks in advance...

Re: Rejected for use of links in references
Website addresses are fine if they are formated like this: constant-content.com not like this http://www.constant-content.com or like this http://constant-content.com
My guess is you included web addresses incorrectly according to the guidelines. Do not use any clickable website addresses since the buyer will want to add them in themselves if desired. It is easy to fix and resubmit. If your rejection said nothing about notation style you are likely fine. Good luck.
