Hi

Post by arorakevin »

Hello, I resubmitted my article about Windows 7. Originally, I had accidentally included a link in my first article. I fixed it and submitted it a second time; however, the article has been "under review" for almost an entire week. Is there still a problem with my article or is any editor going to review it?

Thank you.

A week is not unusual for an article to still be under review, especially when there are many public requests. (Articles submitted for public and private requests are reviewed much more quickly.) Was your article rejected the first time around and you had to re-submit it, or did you simply re-upload a new document with the correction without deleting the article? If your article was rejected and you re-subbed, it goes back to the queue and there may be dozens and dozens of articles already ahead of you. If it's the latter, it wouldn't have lost its place in the queue, and in this case, you'll just need to be patient. We only have one Ed going through the submissions (and perhaps another Ed-in-training, if he/she is still around). While you're waiting for that article to get approved, why not spend the time brainstorming for other articles and writing them?
