I contacted someone who made a public request about web design articles. I gave them a list of proposed topics. Yhey liked the topics and I submitted the first article. It was rejected because I didn't mention the specific city enough. I revised the article mentioning the city two additional times.
It just got rejected again and the e-mail says: Attached file does not contain the corrections and does not match the content details excerpt.
What is going on? I have ten articles sitting here but don't want to submit them until at least the first one clears.

I'd guess that you accidentally browsed to the wrong file when you uploaded the attachment. Open the correct file in your word processor and read it over one more time (I know you've already combed through it, but one more time won't hurt). Then redo your submission, double checking both the file and the information you type into the form.
I'm a nested folder kind of person--and I used to keep draft copies of everything I wrote because I'm OCD that way. I learned that throwing away or saving over previous drafts eliminates at least one problem, though if I've done major changes I've sometimes regretted tossing paragraphs or sections. Hard to know what to do.
Try again, and good luck!

I suppose that could be the case. I'll try it again. I've rarely had rejections.

Re: I don't understand
I decided to submit a completely new one using the same ideas.
Let's see what happens!
I'm not scared of rejections, I just wish they'd go into a little more detail so it could be more of a learning experience.

I think it's possible when altering an article to forget to change the sample content. I know that I nearly did that on a few occasions. That could be why you had the reply about not matching.
