I've read some excerpts on On Writing. Something I admire about writers is their ability to be sooooo freakin witty.
I haven't read his stuff lately, but the last one I read was Bag of Bones. It has a writer in it. I used to count down the minutes until I could lie in bed at night, drink a beer or glass of wine and read it. I kid you not when I say that as I was reading it in my bed that I actually got scared. I didn't have a dog back then. My dog relieves me from some of my scared moments, but back then I didn't want to turn off the lights.

I love The Stand and The Talisman, also Eyes of the Dragon. I've read them over and over again and every time I enjoy them as much or more than the last time. It was good too though I didn't care for the ending. Misery was the one that got me freaked out. I remember reading it (listening to it from the Talking Book Library) in bed late at night and not being able to go to sleep at all!
I never like the movies they make from his books. So much of the frightening he does is by using your own imagination to scare you. When it's in living color it loses a lot of its scare power to me.
I haven't read one of King's books out since the turn of the century. Hah, that's sounds so long ago.......

I've had two submissions rejected for understandable reasons; however, I've had nine or ten accepted and sold three. So... Is it three rejections and you're done? If that's the case, what happens to the content I've got on here already? I can't find an answer on this thread or anywhere else on the forum. Please advise! Thanks.

The three strikes rule is at Ed's option and seems to be applied to those that can not or will not meet the guidelines. We all get the occasional rejection for small stuff and it's not fatal. You are doing well and I wish you all the best and many more sales.

I was wondering the same thing. Does it still stay posted so that it can eventually sell or is it removed once your account is disabled? I don't plan on getting 'out,' but I was curiousAngiePapple wrote:I've had two submissions rejected for understandable reasons; however, I've had nine or ten accepted and sold three. So...
