Rejection (Formatting Guidelines not followed)

Post by Circe »

Hello!

My first article sent for review was rejected for not following Formatting Guidelines. I am mystified as I thought I did follow them. My article is title - "How to Camouflage a Stained or Peeling Wall and Give Your Windows a New Look." Can I resubmit this article after I have fixed the format? I only see Submission Guidelines not Formatting Guidelines. Please help.

Appreciately

Circe,

You can find the writer guidelines here: http://www.constant-content.com/about/w ... elines.htm . About halfway down the page is the Required Format section.

You must also use the correct file type when you make a submission. You can find info about this here: http://www.constant-content.com/blog/20 ... ile-types/

Yes, you can resubmit an article. Hope this helps!

Well I submitted again and in the right format -- but got rejected a second time saying font size is given in the guidelines. It's 12 pt Arial or Times Roman. And I have that. So what's amiss? A third reject means you're out, right?

Thanks

If you have the font set to 12pt, it isn't displaying. If you are submitting in a doc file, can you please try saving-as an rtf file (and vice versa) and submitting in that file type? I'd like to see if that remedies the problem.

Thanks,

Thanks Ed

I will try the rtf route.
