First Rejection

Post by SarahElisabeth »

I submitted my first article and it was rejected. The reason given was: "Please proofread for semicolon misuse."
I found the error in the third paragraph. My question is, did the editor continue to read the article for other problems or would he have just stopped there and sent the rejection notice?

If that was the only error, yippi for me! lol
Making the changes and will re-submit soon

Thanks,
Sarah Elisabeth

It depends. Authors should always proofread their work thoroughly upon rejection to avoid receiving a second rejection notice. Articles are unable to be repeatedly reviewed.
