Ed, clarification please

What does this mean:

Please do not include information about previous publication on your submission form.

Do you not want me to leave a note for you in the comments about it being published elsewhere or do you not want me to do the "According to xxxx?"

I need to clear the notes on my other submissions then, if you don't want me to leave you a note. I just wanted to be up front that it is for usage and you would find the article elsewhere. I thought I was being helpful!

Please do not include information about previous publication of your article on the submission form. Our FAQ indicates that location of previous publication should not be included on the submission form, but this request encompasses all info about previous publication.

Ok, that's what I thought but wasn't sure if it meant the article's reference. Sorry. I cleared the other one too! Thanks for giving me the one article though!
